North Shore-LIJ Health System to Add Surgery Center at Glen Cove Hospital

 
North Shore-LIJ Health System has announced that it plans to add an ambulatory surgery center at Glen Cove (N.Y.) Hospital, according to a Huntington Patch report.

North-Shore Health Systems plan includes the expansion of ambulatory care services and the phasing out of inpatient beds.

The hospital’s inpatient beds will begin being phased out in January 2014.
