NIGMS, NIH Grant Qrono $256k Grant for Improvement of AMD Treatment

The National Institute of General Medicine Sciences, National Institute of Health have granted Qrono, a Pittsburgh-based pharmaceutical company, a $256,000 Small Business Technology Transfer Phase I grant for the improvement of wet age-related macular degeneration treatments.

The grant will also help fund the company’s work on long-acting injectable drug formulations.

The grant-funded research will be done in collaboration with The Little Lab of the Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
