Hackensack University Medical Center Receives Bariatric Accreditation

Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center’s bariatric surgery program received reaccreditation late last year, according to a report from The Paramus Post.

The program, led by division chief Hans Schmidt, MD, will also remain an American College of Surgeons Level 1 Accredited Bariatric Center. The facility received full approval from the American College of Surgeons Bariatric Surgery Center Network Accreditation Program.
