Hospital systems including the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth System and Summa Health System have all been using software to tap databases of patient information.
These systems have streamlined billing systems to make it easier to identify a pattern of late payments for certain conditions or a physician who has frequently ordered expensive tests.
