Pediatricians Hesitant to Adopt EHRS

Pediatricians tend to be more hesitant to adopt electronic health records than other physicians, according to Healthcare IT News.

In a recent report, these physicians cited costs and hesitancy over potential benefits of the system. Pediatricians tend to be one to two years behind physicians in other specialties with EHR adoption.

About 40 percent of pediatricians said they used EHRs, but only 6 percent had full-functional systems.
