FDB will be able to provide its customers with the ICD-10 code sets well in advance of the government’s Oct. 1, 2014 implementation deadline.

Clinicians who use healthcare information systems with FDB’s drug knowledge rely on ICD codes for clinical decision support and claims processing. All ICD-10 codes must be used on HIPAA transactions, including outpatient claims with dates of service and inpatient claims with dates of discharge after the implementation deadline.
