Siemens Receives FDA Clearance for Digital Radiography System

Siemens Healthcare has announced it has received FDA clearance for a new digital radiography system, according to a news release.

Features of the Multix Fusion digital radiography system include a digital cassette-sized flat-panel detector, height-adjustable table with a 660-pound weight capacity and a touch screen at the overhead tube suspension for exam parameter changes at the patient’s side, according to the company.

 

The analog version of the Multix Fusion was introduced in March 2012.

Siemens Healthcare has its U.S. headquarters in Malvern, Pa.
