Mr. Ard was indicted with former Stryker president Mark Philip and other sales managers Jeff Whitaker and William Heppner, whose charges have not been dropped. The indictment alleges the defendant promoted the combined use of the OP-1 Implant, OP-1 Putty and the bone void filler Calstrux, which caused adverse effects, such as irritation and infections, in patients.
