Los Angeles Anesthesiologist Joins the Cast of CBS’ “Survivor”

A Los Angeles anesthesiologist has joined the cast of CBS’ “Survivor” for its fall 2011 season, according to a CBS report.

Edna Ma, MD, 35, works as an anesthesiologist in Los Angeles and said she was the first in her family to finish college. She subsequently went on to complete medical school and achieve her board certification in anesthesiology.

“Survivor” will air on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. eastern time, 7:00 p.m. central time on CBS this fall.
