ASA Joins 24 Medical Societies in Letter to Patient-Centered Research Outcomes Institute

The American Society of Anesthesiologists joined 24 other medical specialties and the American Medical Association in signing a joint letter to the Patient-Centered Research Outcomes Institute regarding recommendations for the organization’s national priorities, according to an ASA release.

The letter included recommendations for the definition of patient-centered research, recommendations for proposed Tier 1 grant projects and recommendations for the institute’s priorities.
