Olympus Cosmetic Group acquired Gallaher Plastic Surgery & Med Spa, a cosmetic surgery practice in Knoxville, Tenn., M&A Healthcare Advisors announced in a Sept. 9 news release.
The deal marks Olympus’ first practice in Tennessee and expands the platform into its ninth state, according to the announcement. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Gallaher Plastic Surgery, founded and led by plastic surgeon Tom Gallaher, MD, offers surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the greater Knoxville market. Olympus Cosmetic Group is a surgeon-founded aesthetics platform backed by VSS Capital Partners, a private investment firm that has managed more than $4 billion in committed capital across eight funds, according to the announcement.
In the release, Olympus CEO Ben Cook said Dr. Gallaher’s practice “represents a premium brand” that is “core to the Olympus platform.”
