Transform Health Partners, a management services organization, has acquired Northwest Weight & Wellness Center and Sound Surgeons, two bariatric and surgical practices based in Everett, Washington, the company announced Aug. 4.

The deal adds two established practices serving patients across Seattle, Spokane and the greater Pacific Northwest to Transform Health Partners’ network. Northwest Weight & Wellness Center and Sound Surgeons provide bariatric, wellness and minimally invasive surgical care.

Dr. Peter Billing, chief medical officer and co-founder of Transform Health Partners, said the acquisitions align with the company’s “mission to elevate patient outcomes while expanding access to exceptional medical services.” Dr. Billing said Transform Health Partners plans to add robotic surgical capabilities at both locations and recruit physicians in general surgery, gynecology, cosmetic surgery and pain relief.

Transform Health Partners, led by Dr. Billing, Lawrence Sherman, Josiah Billing and Corey Newton, owns or supports nearly 30 medical practices nationwide and provides revenue cycle management, marketing and practice management services to its network.
