Annapolis, Md.-based Vision Innovation Partners has appointed Brad Foster, MD, as chief medical and strategy officer.
Dr. Foster will collaborate with Vision Innovation Partners’ physicians to establish clinical performance benchmarks and drive greater accountability through standardized processes, according to a June 15 news release from VIP.
As founder and managing partner of New England Retina Consultants, Dr. Foster spent more than two decades overseeing all aspects of practice management. He has also previously served as co-founder and chief medical officer of Millennium Vision Partners, and chief medical officer of Ascend Vision Partners.
Vision Innovation Partners is an ophthalmology-focused MSO, supporting more than 150 providers. The organization has a network of 69 locations, including 12 ASCs, across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Washington, D.C., the release said.
