Health Management Associates Names Mike Fencel CEO of North Florida Division
Health Management Associates has announced it has named Mike Fencel as CEO of its North Florida Division, according to an HMA news release.
In this role, Mr. Fencel will oversee the company's 11 affiliated hospitals, and its surgery centers, physician practices, ancillary services and other affiliated entities in North Florida.
He most recently served as CEO of Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Fla.
"Mike is an experienced hospital operator respected among his peers for delivering consistently strong operating results without ever compromising on quality or integrity," said Alan Levine, president of HMA's Florida group, in the release. "We are so glad he will bring this experience to all of North Florida."
