San Francisco-based DigiSight Technologies, a digital health company, appointed Nitin Karandikar as vice president of engineering.

1. Mr. Karandikar will oversee software development activities and design new features and functionalities for the company's proprietary technologies for ophthalmology.
2. He holds more than 25 years of experience in professional software development.
3. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Karandikar was DeVero's vice president of engineering.
4. Mr. Karandikar also served as the principal software architect for FixStream.
