SCA's total joint replacement business doubles; Nobilis Health expects FY 2016 revenue to climb to $281M & more — 7 key notes

Here are seven updates on ASC management companies to note.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners had adjusted EBITDA totaling $44.7 million for the third quarter of fiscal year 2016.

Headquartered in Houston, Nobilis Health expects FY 2016 revenue to total $281 million.

Compared to the first nine months of FY 2015, Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates' total joint replacement business has more than doubled. Thirty-seven of SCA's facilities are currently performing total joint replacements.

AmSurg, based in Nashville, had net earnings attributable to common stakeholders totaling $37.7 million during Q3 FY 2016, down 7 percent from the same period last year.

Analysts gave Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. a $31.62 price target. The company has a 50-day moving average price of $20.90 and a 200-day moving average price of $25.96.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Medical Facilities Corp. named Tyler Murphy executive vice president of finance. With more than 15 years of senior financial management experience in healthcare, Mr. Murphy most recently was the vice president and treasurer of a publicly-traded healthcare company.

During the week of Nov. 14 to Nov. 18, 2016, Nashville-based Hospital Corporation of America shares rallied 4.2 percent, trading at $72.47 per share.
