Mount Kisco, N.Y.-based CareMount Medical named Peter J. Kelly, MBA, director of value-based programs.

1. Mr. Kelly will collaborate with Kevin Conroy, CareMount's CFO and chief population health officer, to boost the practice's risk contracting and population health.
2. Mr. Kelly previously served as executive director of market operations at New York-based Universal American, a Medicare Advantage and accountable care organization management company.
3. Dr. Kelly received his master's of business administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in Philadelphia.
4. A multispecialty medical group, CareMount serves patients in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia and Ulster counties, all in New York.
5. The group serves more than 500,000 patients.
