Johnny Benjamin, MD, is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon and founder of Pro Spine Center in Vero Beach, Fla. He is also the chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at Indian River Medical Center and the director of the Medical Specialties Surgery Center.
He is a fellow the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the North American Spine Society. He is also a clinical assistant professor at Florida State University.
Dr. Benjamin completed his medical degree at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his surgical spine fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute in Clearwater.
