The following are anesthesia mergers and acquisitions that have occurred in the past month as reported on in Becker's ASC Review.

North American Partners in Anesthesia announced a strategic alliance with Bollingbrook, Ill.-based Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians.

The International Anesthesia Research Society announced $600,000 in grants awarded for its 2014 Mentored Research Awards, which go to investigators working to advance the understanding of clinical anesthesiology practices.

Resolute Anesthesia and Pain Solutions, an anesthesia provider in Boca Raton, Fla., acquired Perth Amboy (N.J.) Anesthesiology and St. Lucie (Fla.) Anesthesia Associates.

Hartford Anesthesiology Associates in East Hartford, Conn., and Medical Anesthesiology Associates in Shelton, Conn.,  combined to form Integrated Anesthesia Associates, effective July 1.

U.S. Anesthesia Partners announced a partnership with a group of around 30 anesthesia providers serving the Northeast Houston market.

FOAA Anesthesia Services and Riverside Health System in Newport News, Va., announced FOAA is now the exclusive provider of anesthesia services for the Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center in Newport News.

AllCare Clinical Associates in Asheville, N.C., announced a partnership with Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, N.C., to provide anesthesia services at the hospital.
