The International Anesthesia Research Society has announced $600,000 in grants awarded for its 2014 Mentored Research Awards, which go to investigators working to advance the understanding of clinical anesthesiology practices.
The four 2014 awardees will each receive $150,000 for their research, according to a news release. Grant recipients include:
Miles Berger, MD, PhD, Duke University Medical Center (Raleigh, N.C.)
Minjae Kim, MD, Columbia University Medical Center (New York)
Nadia Lunardi, MD, PhD, University of Virginia School of Medicine (Charlottesville)
Rene Przkora, MD, PhD, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston
