The AccuPoint-HC system is designed to be superior to traditional swabs as its flat surface comes in complete contact with the area being sampled, according to a news release. Sample test results are displayed on its reader, as well as in its Data Manager software, which can be used to track and trend data, document results and demonstrate quality improvement.
Healthmark has designed AccuPoint-HC as a self-contained cartridge which can help minimize the opportunity for false positive results from poor collection technique, according to the release.
