Virtua Evaluating Surgery Center Possibility in Moorestown

The Moorestown, N.J., planning board has approved a $50 million ambulatory care center proposal by Virtua that will be a “one-stop shop” for this South Jersey community, according to the Courier Post.

Virtua is evaluating whether to add a surgery center to the property in Moorestown, Adrienne Kirby, PhD, Virtua’s COO for ambulatory services and programs of excellence, said in the article.

Plans for the ambulatory care center have been in the works for more than three years. It is expected to be a three-story, 200,000 square-foot facility offering both wellness and medically based services.
