Virginia Medical Plaza Receives Building Permit For Surgery Center

Forest Medical Plaza, located at the Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Va., has received the building permit for the construction of the $1.3 million Henrico Doctors’ Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center, according to a report in the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

The 18,000 square-foot surgery center will be located on the fourth floor of Forest Medical Plaza and will have four operating rooms and two procedure rooms, according to the report.

Construction is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2010.
