Vassar Brothers Medical Center’s $66M Expansion Includes New Surgery Center

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is planning a $66 million building project that will include expansion of its ambulatory surgery department, according to a report by the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The new ASC would handle about 3,000 of the hospital’s 7,200 surgery cases per year.

Pending approvals from the city, construction will begin next summer and be complete by the end of 2011.
