Mr. Doyle has extensive clinical and healthcare management experience, having spent 10 years in a large corporate healthcare organization, most recently as senior vice president of operations. Throughout his career, Mr. Doyle has been a hands-on manager and draws from his practical experience of managing and developing healthcare services.
At the 18th Annual Ambulatory Surgery Centers Conference in Chicago last October, Mr. Doyle and other prominent leaders in the ASC industry discussed the six components of a successful ASC strategy, including expanded surgical volumes and recruitment of new, younger physicians. Another strategy is also to implement and follow up on an action plan, which really depends on the facility, Mr. Doyle said. “Every facility is different, and you need to make sure you have an action plan and implement through all your centers,” Mr. Doyle said. “But the hardest part is making sure you dust off the plan and look at it every few weeks to make sure you’re spending time on things that matter.”
