ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to the release.
“Princeton HealthCare System is dedicated to transforming the hospital experience at its new University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro with digital technology, from admissions to discharge, and enabling medical staff to consult health records from virtually anywhere,” said Mike Haldane, vice president and general manager, clinical documentation, for Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, in the release. “We are pleased that they have selected ProVation MD for GI to further this mission in the new facility by providing clinicians with access to streamlined documentation and coding in the GI lab.”
A unit of the Princeton HealthCare System, the 231-bed University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro is scheduled to open in May 2012.
