Officials from PAMF confirmed that discussions were underway and a decision could be reached by Dec. 10, when Mills-Peninsula shareholder physicians are expected to vote on an agreement, according to the report.
The two medical groups had previously discussed a merger in 2004, but negotiations fell apart.
