Two California Surgery Centers to Merge

The Cypress Surgery Center and the Center for Ambulatory Medicine and Surgery, both located in Visalia, Calif., are planning a merger, according to a report from the Fresno Bee.

CAMS will relocate to Cypress’ location on the campus of Kaweah Delta Health Care District. Cypress performs around 2,500 procedures annually and is jointly owned by Kaweah and 20 physicians. CAMS performs around 4,000 procedures annually and is owned by six physicians.
