More Than One Third of Women With Breast Cancer Live With Pain

A new study found 34 percent of women with breast cancer are living with pain and other uncontrolled symptoms, according to findings published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management.

University of Southampton researchers looked at 235 women with breast cancer. They also found women whose breast cancer had spread to the bones were more likely to experience pain, and 44 percent of those women reported significant pain.
