The 12,000 sq. ft. ASC will have three operating rooms at the start with two focused on orthopedics and one for minimally-invasive spine procedures. The space allows the ability to expand to a fourth room that will likely be dedicated to minimally-invasive spine.
The ASC will perform procedures in orthopedics, minimally-invasive neurosurgery, interventional pain management and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Features of the center include spinal cord monitoring, observation rooms, two 23-hour stay rooms and state-of-the-art IT and video integration communication systems. The building that houses the center will also provide services including imaging, laboratory, gamma knife, outpatient rehabilitation, hyperbaric and physician/surgeon medical offices.
