Three New York Hospitals to Form Affiliation

Northeast Health, St. Peter’s Health Care Services and Seton Health, all located in the Albany, N.Y., region, will form an affiliation to share services between the secular and Catholic hospitals, according to a report from Fox 23 in Albany.

Northeast and St. Peter’s made a formal affiliation on Feb. 24. Seton Health has newly come on board with the affiliation. According to the report, Dr. James Reed, president and CEO of Northeast Health, said the objectives of this affiliation are to optimize quality and cost of healthcare services in the region and to make care more patient-centered.
