Gastrointestinal Illness Forces Unit Closures at Children’s Hospital in Colorado

Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colo., has closed several units in its psychiatric departments and is not accepting any new patients due to a gastrointestinal illness, according to a KDVR report.

Although hospital officials expect to reopen the units later this week, a hospital spokeswoman confirmed the infection control measures were put in place to stop the spread of the illness.
