Texas ASC becomes first in area to perform robot-assisted total knee replacement

Lubbock, Texas-based Covenant High Plains Surgery Center became West Texas’ first freestanding ASC to complete a robot-assisted total knee replacement, the company said Oct. 19 in a news release.

Covenant used the Stryker Mako surgical robot for the procedure, the company said.
