Manufacturers are increasingly looking to more price-conscious community hospitals and particularly ambulatory surgery centers, according to the report. According to a Millennium Research Group report, a strong area of growth for lower-priced systems will be ENT surgery centers.

The surgical navigation market is expected to grow to a value of nearly $195 million by 2016, driven in part by the adoption of intraoperative imaging.
