Responsibilities:
· Work with SVP, Regional Vice Presidents (RVP), Regional Quality Coordinators and SCA Clinical Department to develop and implement the SCA strategic clinical-quality plan to cover perioperative and ASCs.
· Provide collaboration and mentorship to hospitals per identified needs regarding clinical and quality programs, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements and safety initiatives supporting the mission, vision and values of SCA.
· Conduct assessments of perioperative services operational performance.
· Provide consultative services to hospitals for management of daily operations, accreditation, regulatory survey preparation and activities, and quality/SCIP measures.
· Assist hospitals with utilizing SCA perioperative products and services, conducting performance improvement activities.
· Monitor and analyze throughput data for cases performed in the operating room and pre-operative and postoperative patient care units.
· Ensure compliance of center Environment of Care Safety Plan and center education and training plan.
· Work closely with hospital department and senior executive leadership, regional vice presidents and SVP to support achievement of operational goals and objectives.
· Independently deliver and achieve targeted client project outcomes with high client satisfaction levels.
· Interface successfully with C-suite executives at current and prospective health system partners.
· Actively engage in assisting with the development of PS products and services.
· Maintain leading knowledge of the perioperative services industry.
· Participate in developing publications and presentations on PS.
· Ensure the highest quality of care and standards are met in the development of the continuous improvement plan.
· Operate within compliance of federal and state rules and regulations.
Requirements:
· Proven compatibility with SCA’s Core Values
· Licensed Registered Nurse with training and experience working in a hospital based perioperative services department, with extensive experience in directing operating room services
· Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent; Master’s degree highly preferred
· Minimum of 8 to 10 years management experience in healthcare
· Experience in working with physicians, patients and various clinical staff desirable
· Knowledge of management principles, including human resources, budget planning and monitoring and customer service
