Surgical Care Affiliates announced that it will enter into a joint venture with Hawaii Pacific Health to construct and operate a surgery center in Honolulu, according to a news release.
SCA currently operates Surgicare of Hawaii in Honolulu, which SCA will relocate to the new facility when it opens in 2010.
The relocated Surgicare of Hawaii will operate as a multi-specialty center offering a number of medical services, including orthopedics, pain management, ophthalmology, general surgery, otolaryngology, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, plastic surgery and podiatry.
