The district operates Tri-City Medical Center, which serves coastal North San Diego County, including much of Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista, Calif. North Coast Surgery Center is a multispecialty ASC with four ORs that is adjacent to Tri-City Medical Center’s campus. The district’s board approved SCA’s ownership interest in the facility on April 1.
SCA currently operates 126 ASCs and surgical hospitals across the country with about 2,000 physician partners.
