Surgery Center to Offer Retinal Surgery to Residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley

Physicians Outpatient Surgery Center in Belpre, Ohio, now offers retinal surgery, allowing residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley who need this procedure to receive care locally rather than traveling to major cities, according to a report in the News and Sentinel.

The center will be the first in the area to offer retinal surgery, according to the report. Two rotating physicians, Mark Hatfield, MD, and Robert Dundervill, MD, of Charleston, W.Va.-based Retina Consultants, will perform the surgeries at Physicians Outpatient.
