Key findings from the report include:
• Adult BMI improved the most out of NCQA’s more than 30 quality measures. Adult BMI improved an average 17 percentage points across all healthcare plans, including 18 percentage points in Medicare HMOs and 26 percentage points in Medicare PPOs.
• Medicare Advantage plans have the most overall improvements compared to other commercial or Medicaid plans.
• Accredited Medicare Advantage plans performed better on more than 75 percent of quality measures than non-accredited Medicare Advantage plans.
