The new mobile sites use HighWire’s Mobile Web interface and include the debut of the first mobile CME product from HighWire. The Mobile Web interface is designed to work with nearly all mobile phones. When a reader visits the journal website from a mobile device, they are automatically redirected to a mobile optimization site containing search, authentication and full-text content.
According to the release, the move to mobile devices was prompted by a demand for mobile access to medical content, including CME courses.
