“The New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (NJAASC) Board of Directors has decided to hire a management company to bring our state trade association to a new level in representing the ASCs in our State,” announced President Larry Trenk. “We spent quality time in reviewing candidates and feel that our choice of Strategic Resources Group (SRG) was a prudent use of our resources. They have been given excellent references from clients as well as senior staff from ASCA,” he added. Principals of the company include Chris Skagen, JD incoming Executive Director, and Simon Schwartz, Associate Executive Director. In addition Rob Schwartz, JD will serve as support to the trade association management and strategic planning issues. Schwartz stated, “NJAASC is the principal resource for ASCs in New Jersey. Our goal is to make this trade association your first stop for help, counsel and advise for your industry. We are honored to work with your membership.
Board member Andrew Weiss added that “Strategic Resources currently manages Oregon and Colorado but they are not strangers to New Jersey.” Rob is a graduate of Rutgers-Camden Law School and both he and Simon have family and friends in New Jersey. Mr. Trenk pointed out, “Before we decided on retaining the firm, they spent quality time meeting with members of the Board and others. They have a real grasp of our strengths and weaknesses.”
