The clearances are for the company’s new MANUKA Fill medical-grade Manuka honey wound dressing and for MANUKA IG non-tacky, contact layer dressing.
The company reported it also received European Union clearance for the products.
“Being able to market our new medical-grade Manuka honey wound care products in the large and rapidly growing United States and European markets, and potentially in the other countries that recognize the FDA and the EU’s CE certifications, is a significant milestone for our company,” said Tom Buckley, CEO of Links Medical Products, in the release. “Based on research and our discussions with wound care specialists, we know these products will make an important contribution to both wound and burn care.”
