SpineGuard Posts $1.7M Net Loss in First Half of 2013 Despite Sales Up 27%

Paris and San Francisco-based SpineGuard reported a net loss of $1.65 million for the last six months of 2013, a $300,000 improvement over the same period last year.

The company took in $2.3 million in six month revenue, up 27 percent from last year. However, it spent $2.27 million in sales, distribution and marketing, up slightly from 2012.

SpineGuard sold 3,000 units of it PediGuard system in the first half of the year, 49 percent of which sold to U.S. companies.
