The staff now plans to make changes to their patient safety protocols by looking at the Science of Safety. The multispecialty center includes sports medicine, orthopedics, spine care, urology, pain management, ENT and gynecology.
As a result of the training, the medical team will look toward forecasting issues and implementing prevention protocols instead of reacting to problems. The center developed the Comprehensive Unit Based Safety Program to monitor safety protocol and take a proactive stand against injuries and complications at the center.
