Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons Plan $4.9M New Orthopedic Center

The Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons group has invested $4.9 million in order to build a 16,000-square-foot orthopedics and sports medicine facility at the Baptist East Medical Center campus in Montgomery, Ala., according to a Montgomery Advertiser report.

The facility will focus on physical rehabilitation, industrial medicine and sports medicine.

The Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons practice will be joined by Lee Murphy, MD, and the center is expected to open in December.
