SouthEast Pain Care Takes Over Rowan Regional Medical Center’s Pain Clinic

Southeast Pain Care, based in Charlotte, N.C., will be taking over Rowan Regional Medical Center’s pain clinic after the hospital announced it would terminate its ownership of the facility, according to a Salisbury Post news report.

As a result of the hospital’s announcement, Gary Shannon, MD, will end his private practice. Patients are encouraged to ask Dr. Shannon for a referral or to have their medical records transferred to a Southeast Pain Care physician. Meanwhile, the hospital has also offered to transfer medical records to any physician outside of Southeast Pain Care for free, according to the news report.
