South Dakota Surgery Center Expanding

Dakota Plains Surgical Center in Aberdeen, S.D., is almost doubling the number of inpatient rooms at the facility as part of a $1.3 million expansion, according to a report from the Aberdeen American News.

The expansion, which will add 4,200 square feet to the facility, will add seven inpatient rooms to the surgery center’s current eight, and also add a procedure room.

The center is currently planning another expansion that will add three more patient rooms, according to the report.
