Features of Vision OnDemand include automation of the management of patient information and facility operations, web-based access and the capability for remote scheduling, inventory management, electronic document management, electronic claims support, quality assurance tracking and workflow management.

“Vision OnDemand provides ASCs an economical alternative to traditional on-premise client/server deployment,” said Scott Palmer, executive vice president of SourceMedical, in the release. “By leveraging the cloud and shifting the server and applications off premises, we are enabling ASCs to rapidly automate the management of business and clinical processes while lowering upfront investments and eliminating ongoing IT costs. We are also able to include many of the software modules that would traditionally be provided a la carte while providing access for unlimited users. This is truly an avenue for our current and future clients to better leverage technology while allowing them to focus more on service to patients and physicians.”
