Gailey has a contract to purchase Macon County Eye Center and Advanced Eye Surgery and Laser Center in Decatur from Sushant Sinha, MD, who is retiring.
If plans come to fruition, the locations would be renamed Gailey Eye Clinic-Decatur and Gailey Eye Surgery-Decatur this summer. Gailey is in discussions with the three remaining physicians there about staying on with Gailey and also intends to keep the 25 employees.
