Smith & Nephew Launches VISIONAIRE Total Knee Replacement Technology

Smith & Nephew announced the introduction of its VISIONAIRE Patient Matched instrumentation, a new technology for use with total knee replacement surgery, according to a Smith & Nephew news release.

The VISIONAIRE system uses patient MRI and x-rays to create custom surgical instrumentation for use with Smith & Nephew knee implants.

The company says these patient-specific, disposable instruments will help to align implants more precisely.
